It’s fascinating how one spontaneous decision can lead to a life-changing journey. One day, I simply decided to become a makeup artist and to chase my dreams in the vibrant city of New York. After earning my master’s degree in human communication studies in San Diego, I packed up my life and took a leap of faith, landing in a city brimming with opportunity and creativity.
The road to confidence in my craft was not instantaneous; it took years of dedicated practice and self-discovery. Working alongside professional models and collaborating with esteemed brands on beauty campaigns, fashion editorials, and television shows revealed to me that makeup transcends mere technique. It’s a profound form of communication—an artistic dialogue between myself and those I work with, sharing visions and stories that go beyond the surface.
