At the trial Kate told me she doesn’t like a lot of makeup and wanted to look like herself but more polished. We came up with this bronzy shimmery eye paired with a soft nude pink lip that is both classic and romantic.

We made Kate’s beautiful light blue eyes pop even more with black eye kohl pencil all around her eye rim and of course a radiant skin!

Liz was very open at the trial as we were trying to come up with the right tone of red for her lips. Since her wedding was in summer when the days were very bright, I decided to try a metallic coral red on her and it looked so good against her skin tone.

She also wanted a dark eye but not smokey, so we decided to line her eyes both up and bottom and applied mascara on both top and bottom lashes. We also did one full set of individual lashes on the top just to make her lashes look longer.

The result is just stunning.

Carol has great bone structure and beautiful skin. She wanted to make her eyes appear larger and bridge of the nose more pronounced.

We were able to achieve that with the help of some sculpting and highlighting and a double eyelid tape which lifts up the hooded folds on her eyes without leaving any trace.

Michelle is like a ray of sunshine in winter. I remember seeing her smile made everyone relaxed and the getting ready part more fun!

She had a winter wedding in New York, so we went for a pop of pinkish coral color on her lips to “warm things up”. And it looked great against her skin and matched her personality so well!

Abby wanted a fanned-out lash look to make her eyes appear longer and more open at the outer corner. We placed a thick layer of individual lashes at the outer corner to give her that cat eye look and we love how it looks on her!

Sam loves makeup and wanted a neutral beat. We used cool tone earthy colors on her eyes and two sets of individual lashes to give her eyes lots of dimension and depths. Brows were strategically penciled in to match the dark eyes. Then the look was completed with a peachy nude lip and a sun kissed skin!

Jessica is not a makeup person, but she loves mascara! We went for a "no makeup" makeup look that wears both beautifully and comfortably.

Jessica also wanted her skin to look radiant and light, so we skipped foundation and went for a sheer tint just to even out the skin tone.

This is a second part of a tradition Chinese wedding where the bride wears red costume with phoenix or floral embroidery. It usually calls for a bold and highly pigmented red lip. We went for a blue red for Jie to match the tones on this beautiful top.
